Gurara Pipeline – detailed design of pipeline and of road-over-river bridges

Aurecon was appointed by SCC Nigeria Limited to provide design services for the pipeline project, including detailed design and construction drawings for the pipeline and appurtenant works. Aurecon also undertook design of the four road bridges over rivers required for the service road, which provides easy access to both the pipeline and to Gurara Dam. More information >

Lagos’ road infrastructure is struggling to stay ahead of population growth which has led to extensive traffic congestion. Lagos State Government appointed our client, Hitech Construction Company, to design and construct road upgrades in the Isheri Area of Lagos to alleviate the congestion in that region. One of the project roads traverses two wide marshes. Hitech appointed Aurecon to design the two bridge structures, which are 700m and 200m long respectively, to cross the marshes. More information >

Lekki-Epe Expressway Toll RoadLekki-Epe Expressway Toll Road

The Epe Expressway is a watershed project in that it is the first PPP and privately funded toll road project in Nigeria and holds the distinction of being the first private toll project in Africa outside of South Africa. Aurecon, along with our joint venture partners, were novated by LCC to Hitech Construction as the Designer and Quality Assurance and Quality Control for the EPCM Contractor.
